Due to prolonged usage, even with regular cleaning, older filters experience much slower water filtration speeds compared to new filters. To properly store filters when not in use for 4-7 days, drain the water, air dry the filter, wrap it in a towel, and keep it in a cool, dry place - do not seal it in a plastic bag or container.

For optimal filter maintenance, clean the unit every 1-2 months. This can be done in two ways: utilize a dedicated cleaning pump to clean the filter interior, or manually brush the surface to remove scale and impurities that can slow down filtration.

While the Renami filters do not significantly reduce total dissolved solids (TDS) levels, their primary function is to enhance the taste and quality of water. They achieve this through efficient removal of various impurities like sand, rust, sediment, and residual chlorine, with a removal rate over 99%.

The Renami black carbon block filters are compatible with Berkey Gravity Filter Systems, including the Travel, Big, Royal, Imperial, and Crown Series. Featuring a precise washer and wing nut design, they prevent leakage and can be installed and used immediately without the need for priming or flushing.
